Cadence & Co We are an established construction and carpentry business operating across the Sydney Northern Beaches region. Due to a growing pipeline of high-end residential renovations, extensions, and new build projects, we are seeking a qualified, trade-certified, and motivated Full time Carpenter to join our team.

n

Key Duties and Responsibilities: Studying blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine job requirements and materials needed.

n

Constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboards. Setting out, cutting, and shaping timber or light-gauge steel frameworks for walls, roofs, floors, and other structures. Installing external cladding, eaves, window frames, door frames, and internal linings.

n

Hanging doors, fitting locks, and installing architectural hardware and internal fixtures (skirting, architraves, cabinetry). Operating power tools, hand tools, and wood-shaping machinery safely and efficiently. Maintaining a clean, safe work site and adhering to all site Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education:



AQF Certificate III in Carpentry (or equivalent international qualification recognized by VETASSESS / Trade Recognition Australia).

n

Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of post-qualification experience in residential carpentry.

n

Licences: Valid General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card) and a current Australian Driver's Licence.

n

Skills: Strong blueprint reading skills, high attention to detail, precision finishing, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

n

Strong communication skills to ensure on-site safety compliance.
