Our Speech Pathologists and Dietitians work closely together to support safe mealtimes, optimise resident outcomes, and meet the strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.

The role

n

We're seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to support Residential Aged Care homes across the beautiful Sunshine Coast in a full-time capacity. You'll have autonomy over your schedule (no weekends), report to our National Speech Pathology Manager, and collaborate within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

About you

n

You are passionate about improving the safety, nutrition, and quality of life of older adults, and you:

n

n
- Manage dysphagia and adult communication needs with confidence (or are keen to develop these skills as a new graduate)
n
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and facility teams
n
- Organise your caseload and documentation efficiently
n
- Thrive working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
n

n

We welcome new graduates

n

You'll receive structured induction, shadowing with Senior and Clinical Lead Speech Pathologists, ongoing supervision, and a gradual caseload ramp-up to ensure you feel confident and supported.

n

Essential

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology
n
- Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility)
n
- Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle
n
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
n
