ConsMin produces some of the world's highest grade manganese ore and is considered a world leader in manganese mining. Our ConsMin Australian operation (Woodie Woodie) is based in the WA Pilbara, 407km south-east of Port Hedland. Enjoy a short two-hour flight direct to our well-equipped camp and mining operation – only a five-minute drive from Woodie Airport.

We are currently seeking a self-motivated and experiencedTyre Fitterto join our Mobile Maintenance team on site at WoodieWoodie.

n

Reporting to the Mobile Maintenance Superintendent, the successful applicant will be required to:

n

n
- Remove, fit and repair tyres across our mining fleet consisting predominantly of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
n
- Carry out tyre fitting on graders, dozers, loaders, dump trucks, water carts, skid steers and other ancillary equipment.
n
- Remove and replace tyres on light vehicles, buses, cranes and service vehicles.
n
- Diagnose tyre damage and abnormal wear patterns.
n
- Complete tyre, wheel and rim inspections.
n
- Conduct scheduled tyre pressure and tread depth inspections.
n
- Maintain accurate tyre management records and inventory information.
n
- Utilise Job Planning Sheets (JPS) and company maintenance systems.
n




- Maintain high housekeeping standards and protected work practices.
n
- Work effectively both independently and as part of the Mobile Maintenance team.
n

To be successful in this role you will have:

n

n
- Certificate II in Heavy Tyre Fitting.
n
- Previous mining experience working on heavy earthmoving equipment.
n
- Demonstrated tyre management experience.
n
- Product knowledge of Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment.
n
- Current HR Driver's Licence.
n
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift (LF).
n
- Intermediate computer skills, includingTredStat/Entire and Microsoft Office.
n
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
n
- Strong commitment to following health, safety and environmental procedures.
