ABOUT THE ROLE
n
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to manage the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments across the business.
n
A key focus of this position is to ensure invoices are accurately reviewed, appropriately approved and processed in line with company policies and procedures.
n
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an Accounts Payable or similar role, with robust attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
n
n
- Process and reconcile invoices, payments and staff expense claims accurately and on time.
n
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors and internal stakeholders to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies.
n
- Verify and maintain supplier and contractor records, including new account setups.
n
- Maintain payment registers, debtor reconciliations and AP reports.
n
- Support the wider Accounts Payable team with reporting, compliance and ad-hoc duties.
n

REQUIREMENTS
n
n
- Diploma/Degree qualified with a discipline in Accounting or Finance
n
- Experience in accounts administration or similar role using Xero or Expenses Systems
n
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
n
- Extensive knowledge of Excel and MS Office programs
n
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic
n
- Must have valid work rights in Australia/ NZ, and the ability to obtain a police clearance.
