The Opportunity

n

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and efficient kitchen environment while supporting food preparation and daily kitchen operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working as part of a team, takes pride in maintaining high standards and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment and assist with washing and storing kitchen equipment, crockery and utensils.
n
- Assist with basic food preparation activities.
n
- Support daily kitchen set‐up and pack‐down procedures.
n
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout kitchen operations.
n
- Clean and maintain kitchen floors, equipment and work areas.
n
- Assist with stock rotation and replenishment as required.
n
- Follow food safety, workplace health and safety,



and company procedures at all times.
n
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

n

n
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a kitchen or hospitality environment (desirable).
n
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
n
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including prolonged periods of standing.
n
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
n
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy hospitality environment.
n
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.
n
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to help wherever needed.
n
