We’re looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join a small HSE team supporting a well-established heavy industrial business across three Brisbane sites.

You’ll work directly with operational teams, contractors and managers, spending time on the floor completing inspections, having safety conversations, supporting investigations and helping ensure HSE systems work in practice, not just on paper.

What you’ll be doing

- Work within a small HSE team to guide the business in the management of health, safety and environmental activities while complying with legislative requirements and company standards
- Champion the Group Safety Management System processes
- Undertake audits, inspections, and front-line engagements
