C.N.A. Accountants Pty Ltd is a well-established two-partner CPA accounting firm located in the heart of Melbourne CBD.

We are seeking an Intermediate Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' experience in tax accounting to join our friendly and supportive team. This position is full time and encompasses a wide variety of accounting and client management responsibilities.

About the Role

n

Working closely with our partners and clients, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Managing key relationships with existing clients
n
- Preparing individual income tax returns
n
- Preparing business financial statements
n
- Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS)
n
- Preparing Instalment Activity Statements (IAS)
n
- Assisting clients with accounting and taxation matters
n
- Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are consistently met
n

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- 3+ years of relevant tax accounting experience
n
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
n
- Confidence communicating with clients by phone and face-to-face
n
- Strong organisation and time-management skills
n




- The ability to prioritise completing deadlines and resolve issues efficiently
n
- A proactive attitude and advanced teamwork skills
n
- Experience with accounting and bookkeeping software, including MYOB and Xero will be highly regarded
n
- Experience with MYOB Accountants Office (MYOB AO) and MYOB AO Tax will be highly regarded
n
- CPA or CA qualification, or nearing completion, will be highly regarded
n
