CC MART is a growing grocery retailer located in Rosebery, NSW, providing a wide range of groceries, fresh produce, beverages, household goods and Asian food products to the local community.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of our store. This is a full-time permanent position suited to an experienced retail professional with strong business, operational and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, organise and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail store;
n
- Determine product mix, stock levels and service standards based on customer demand and sales performance;
n
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment and stock control to maintain appropriate stock levels and minimise wastage and losses;
n
- Develop and implement purchasing procedures and liaise with suppliers regarding product range, pricing, quality and delivery arrangements;
n
- Review product costs, sales performance and market conditions to assist in determining competitive pricing strategies;
n
- Plan and implement in-store promotions and other sales and marketing initiatives;
n
- Monitor sales performance, operating expenses and financial transactions and maintain appropriate business records;
n
- Assist with the preparation and monitoring of store budgets, sales targets and operational costs;
n
- Recruit, train, roster,



supervise and evaluate retail staff;
n
- Establish and maintain standards for customer service, merchandising, store presentation and daily retail operations;
n
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction;
n
- Coordinate and oversee the operations of additional retail locations operated by the business, where required, to ensure consistent operational, service and performance standards across stores;
n
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and other applicable retail and food handling standards.

Skills and Experience

n

n
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Management, Retail Management or a related field;
n
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in retail management or store management;
n
- Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day retail operations;
n
- Experience in inventory management, purchasing, supplier coordination and stock control;
n
- Experience in supervising, training and rostering retail staff;
n
- Positive understanding of sales performance, pricing, budgeting and cost control;
n
- Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills;
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills; and
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
