Security Officer (Man Guarding Static SIte Riverside Newcastle)

As the first point of contact for clients, employees and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, secure and welcoming environment. You will represent both Core Facilities and our client with professionalism, integrity and excellent customer service.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver a highly visible security presence throughout the building.
n
- Control access and ensure only authorised personnel enter the premises.
n
- Welcome visitors, contractors and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
n
- Carry out regular internal and external patrols.
n
- Monitor alarm systems and security equipment.
n
- Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies and alarm activations.
n
- Complete accurate incident reports, patrol records and daily occurrence logs.
n
- Conduct opening and closing procedures.
n
- Manage deliveries and contractor access in accordance with site procedures.
n
- Liaise with emergency services, client representatives and management when required.
n
- Ensure compliance with all health & safety, fire safety and security procedures.
n
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist building occupants whenever required.
n
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Smart,



professional appearance with high personal standards.

- Ability to remain calm and confident under pressure.
n
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
n
- IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and security systems.
n
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including nights and weekends.
n
- Right to work in the UK.
n
- Previous experience within corporate, commercial or high-end office environments.
n
- First Aid at Work qualification.
n
- Experience using access control and visitor management systems.
n
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures.
n
