As our Glen Iris clinic continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

The Role
n
We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic, and highly organised nurse who is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence.
n
This is a part-time position, working 3 days per week (8:00am to 5:15pm), totaling 26.25 hours per week. As the clinic continues to grow, there will be an opportunities to increase hours should you wish to do so.
n
Working closely with our doctors and reception team, you will play a vital role in supporting consultations, procedures, patient education, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic.
n
Key Responsibilities Include:
n
n
- Assisting doctors with skin cancer procedures and treatments
n
- Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clinical equipment
n
- Performing wound care and dressing changes
n
- Performing Total Body Photography (TBP)
n
- Sterilisation and infection control management
n
- Patient education regarding procedures and post-operative care
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation
n
- Stock control and ordering of clinical supplies
n
- Ensuring compliance with accreditation, infection control, and safety standards
n
- Working collaboratively with doctors, reception staff,
and fellow nurses
n
n
Key Selection Criteria
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
n
- Previous experience in general practice, skin cancer, dermatology clinic, surgical or procedural nursing preferred, however not essential.
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
n
- A patient-centered approach to care
n
- Outstanding organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control principles
n
- Strong computer skills and experience with clinical software systems
n
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
n
n
Previous nursing experience in a general practice, dermatology clinic or skin cancer clinic setting is highly desirable. This position requires on-site attendance.

Training Requirements
n
The successful applicant will be required to attend our Woodend clinic for an initial two-week onboarding and training period. This hands-on training will provide comprehensive exposure to SkinGP's systems, procedures, and standards of patient care, ensuring a smooth transition into the role at our Glen Iris clinic. Following the completion of training, the position will be based at our Glen Iris location.
