About the Role

n

We are an established Sydney waterproofing, tiling and bathroom repair company looking for a practical, reliable Carpenter / Multi-Skilled Tradesperson to join our team.

n

This isn't a traditional construction carpentry role.

n

Our work is predominantly in existing residential bathrooms and showers, carrying out smaller repair and rectification jobs across Sydney.

n

We're looking for a good all-round tradesperson who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is comfortable figuring things out and solving problems on site.

n

What You'll Be Doing

n

The role will include a mix of:

n

n
- Repairing and replacing damaged bathroom and shower subfloors
n
- Timber and framing repairs
n
- Installing and replacing fibre cement sheeting and other substrates
n
- Small carpentry and general building repairs
n
- Carpentry and substrate preparation for waterproofing and tiling
n
- Removing and reinstalling shower screens
n
- Carrying out bathroom and shower repair work alongside our technicians
n
- Diagnosing problems and finding practical solutions on site
n
- General remedial and repair work
n

n

As a waterproofing and tiling business, there will also be opportunities to assist with other areas of our work.

n

Depending on your experience and interests, we can teach you additional skills including:

n

n
- Regrouting showers and bathrooms




n
- Silicone replacement
n
- Basic tiling repairs
n
- Waterproofing preparation
n
- Other specialist bathroom repair techniques
n

n

You don't need to know how to do everything from day one.

n

Who We're Looking For

n

A carpentry trade qualification would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.

n

Practical experience, workmanship and attitude are more important to us.

n

You may currently be working as a carpenter, bathroom renovator, maintenance tradesperson or general all-rounder.

n

Ideally, you'll:

n

- Have solid carpentry, building or maintenance experience
n
- Be confident using tools and working independently
n
- Enjoy smaller repair jobs and problem-solving
n
- Take pride in producing neat, quality work
n
- Be reliable and organised
n
- Communicate well with customers and other trades
n
- Be comfortable working in customers' homes
n
- Have a current driver's licence
n

n

Experience with bathroom renovations, shower screens, tiling, waterproofing, remedial building or property maintenance would be a big advantage, but isn't essential.

n
