- Monday - Friday, 45 hours + overtime + some Saturday mornings.

The Position

n

This Is Genuine Labouring Work. You Will Be Moving All Day.

n

Our Production Crew moves hundreds of tonnes of timber every week. The work is fast, physical and practical - for people who like using their strength, staying on their feet and working with their hands.

n

What you will be doing

n

You will manually handle, carry, move and stack timber up to 6 metres long, using safe methods, teamwork and mechanical aids when required.

n

You will feed timber into treatment machinery; operate and monitor equipment; cut and prepare timber; pick, pack, wrap and strap orders; and support the production area and yard.

n

We are looking for experienced labourers who:

n

n
- Have demonstrated experience in a physically demanding labouring role
n
- Are physically fit and robust enough to safely handle long timber lengths up to 9 metres using approved methods
n
- Genuinely enjoy physical work and being active throughout the day
n
- Have a reliable work history and consistently turn up ready to work
n
- Bring practical hand skills, sound manual handling technique and a strong safety mindset
n
- Are confident around machinery and either hold, or are willing to obtain, a forklift licence
n

Great fit if you have worked as an:

Experienced Labourer, Construction Labourer, Yard Hand, Timber or Production Worker, Machine Operator, Trades Assistant, Storeperson or Picker/Packer.
