Are you looking to launch your career in accounting or finance? Join our Corporate Accounts Payable team at Flight Centre Travel Group and play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payments to our valued suppliers. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a reputable global organisation, with a 12-month contract to help you gain valuable hands‐on experience.

What your day will involve:
n
n
- Reviewing and processing supplier invoices with accuracy and efficiency.
n
- Following up with hotels for statements and invoicing clients within agreed service level agreements.
n
- Assisting operational teams and suppliers by resolving queries professionally and promptly.
n
- Collaborating closely with the broader finance team to ensure compliance with accounts payable procedures.
n
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date supplier information within the Accounts Payable system.
n
- Managing and overseeing the complete accounts payable process to ensure smooth financial operations.
n
- Communicating effectively across divisions, with senior management, and with external vendors.
n
n
Your skills and experience include:
n
n
- Fundamental accounting and numerical skills.
n
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
n
- Excellent attention to detail,
organisational abilities, and effective time management.
n
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
n
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
n
- Clear understanding of financial concepts and documentation.
n
- Well-developed customer service skills to maintain robust supplier and partner relationships.
n
- Travel industry knowledge and prior accounts payable or procure-to-pay experience are advantageous.
n
- Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce are desirable but not mandatory.
