The Bendigo District RSL is seeking qualified casual Chefs, with above award pay rate based on skill and experience.

TheBendigo District RSL is a busy club with a large kitchen and offers quality dining experiences within its bistro, function rooms and sports bar. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, using fresh, local and seasonal produce. The successful applicant must be fully qualified, have a passion for food, an eye for detail and have pride in everything they do.

Your role includes the following key tasks:

Exposure and experience in a large busykitchen environment

n

Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure great service and outstanding food

n

Maintain high standards of food, food safety, cleanliness and presentation

n

Willingness to learn new methods of cooking and havea respect for quality ingredients

n

An ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure in a busy environment

n

Flexibility to work across a range of hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
