St Patrick's College Townsville is seeking an exceptional educational leader to join our Middle Leadership Team as Head of Faculty - Arts, commencing in 2027.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and creative educator to lead a contemporary Arts program that inspires creativity, excellence and engagement for students from Years 7-12. You will work collaboratively with fellow curriculum leaders to shape outstanding learning experiences and contribute to the strategic direction of the College.
About the Role
As Head of Faculty - Arts, you will provide strategic leadership of the College's Arts curriculum and teaching team. You will foster a culture of professional growth, evidence-informed practice and high expectations, while ensuring students are challenged, supported and inspired to achieve their personal best.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading curriculum development and implementation.
- Driving excellence in teaching, assessment and student outcomes.
- Coaching and mentoring teachers to achieve excellence in practice.
- Driving data-informed improvement and student achievement.
- Building industry and community partnerships that enhance student opportunities.
- Contributing to the broader leadership and strategic direction of the College.
