ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Driver, you are a brand ambassador for Dahlsens. You will be responsible for the safe, timely and professional delivery of timber, building products and other merchandise to customer sites across the local region.

n

You will take ownership of your deliveries, manage schedules effectively, and assess delivery sites to ensure safe access and unloading. This role requires a strong commitment to safety,



customer service and teamwork, with the ability to work independently and support yard operations when required.

n

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

n

n
- Operating company vehicles and plant safely and in compliance with road and safety requirements
n
- Delivering goods on time and in full in line with customer specifications
n
- Loading, unloading and handling products safely, including manual handling where required
n
- Assessing delivery sites for hazards prior to unloading
n
- Ensuring goods are accurately checked against run sheets and confirmed with customers
n
- Providing high levels of customer service to internal and external customers
n
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and completing required inspections and reports
n
- Following Our Circle of Care principles and reporting hazards, near misses and incidents
n

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

n

n
- Valid Medium Rigid (MR) licence or greater (mandatory)
n
- Forklift Licence (LF)(mandatory)
n
- White Card (mandatory)
n
- Dogging licence(preferred)
n
- Clean and untarnished driving record
n
- Previous experience delivering timber or building materials (preferred)
n
- Experience with safe loading, unloading and stock handling
n
- Strong customer service and communication skills




n
- Ability to work independently with positive time management
n
- Physically capable of manual handling in line with WHS requirements
n
