An opportunity has become available for a Psychologist - Senior (Women, Newborn and Childrens Services)to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will
n
n
- Deliver high level psychology clinical services including assessment, formulation and treatment on referral
n
- Undertake clinical governance activities related to psychology within the multidisciplinary team
n
- Provide clinical advice to professional and operational supervisors, relevant service managers and stakeholders
n
- Provide ambulatory antenatal and postnatal services, including termination of pregnancy, and service other acute wards across hospital campuses
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position you will require:
n
n
- Tertiary degree in Psychology (or equivalent)
n
- Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
n
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- Criminal History Screening will be required for current employees (GCH will cover cost)
n

- Base salary ranging from $64.64 - $69.55 per hour
