Private Housekeeper / Household Manager

Executive Family | Monday-Friday | School Hours | Long-Term Position

n

A busy young executive family is seeking an exceptional, experienced and highly organised Private Housekeeper / Household Manager to take responsibility for the presentation and day-to-day domestic management of our family residences.

n

The role primarily involves the care of two neighbouring residences - our family home with two adults and two young children, together with our parents' residence next door, which requires considerably lighter general upkeep.

n

There will also be responsibility for coordinating tradespeople and maintenance across three family residences, together with periodic cleaning and linen management aboard our family yacht.

n

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in creating and maintaining a beautifully presented home and who can work independently, notice what needs attention and simply make things happen.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Full daily cleaning and upkeep of two residences
n
- Maintaining kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms and living areas to immaculate standards
n
- Laundry management, including expert ironing and garment care, with confidence handling fine fabrics, couture and delicate materials
n
- Wardrobe organisation and ongoing maintenance
n
- Bed making and linen presentation to a five-star hotel / luxury yacht standard
n
- Deep cleaning on rotation and seasonal detailing
n
- Managing and restocking household, laundry and cleaning supplies
n
- Light meal preparation and assistance with family meals
n
- Running occasional household errands and shopping
n
- Coordinating tradespeople, contractors,



repairs and routine maintenance across three family residences
n
- Arranging contractor access and following up works to completion
n
- Maintaining household maintenance schedules and identifying items requiring attention
n
- Maintaining linen and assisting with the cleaning and presentation of our family yacht
n
- Taking ownership of the general domestic organisation of the homes
n

About You

n

We are looking for someone who is:

n

- Experienced in luxury private households, superyachts or five-star hospitality
n
- An exceptional housekeeper with extremely high presentation standards
n
- Highly skilled in laundry, ironing and garment care
n
- Meticulous, organised and attentive to detail
n
- Proactive and self-managing, rather than requiring constant direction
n
- Warm and comfortable working around a young family and children
n
- Discreet, private, trustworthy and qualified at all times
n
- Physically fit and comfortable managing the requirements of two neighbouring properties
n
- Fluent in English
n
- Able to provide excellent references
n

Above all, we are looking for someone with a natural eye for detail who takes pride in their work. You should be the type of person who notices something needs doing and takes care of it without being asked.

The Position

Days: Monday to Friday
n Hours: Predominantly school hours
n Position: Permanent, long-term
n Location: Gold Coast
n Remuneration: Attractive and negotiable depending on experience
