Commercial Conveyancing with Broader Property Exposure

This is a great opportunity for a Conveyancer who enjoys running their own matters but wants more variety and stronger exposure to commercial property work.

n

You will join a growing, client-focused practice where the majority of conveyancing work is commercial, working closely with the Principal across a broad range of property transactions. There is also some residential conveyancing, making this suitable for an experienced commercial conveyancer or a strong residential conveyancer looking to broaden their experience.

The role offers plenty of autonomy, direct involvement in matters from start to finish and the opportunity to work across the firm's wider property and commercial practice.

The Role

n

You will be responsible for managing your own conveyancing matters through to settlement, including:

n

n
- Managing commercial and residential conveyancing files from instruction to completion
n
- Preparing and reviewing contracts, transfer documentation and disclosure statements
n
- Liaising with clients, agents, solicitors and other stakeholders
n
- Managing key dates, settlements and transaction requirements
n
- Keeping clients updated throughout the matter
n
- Maintaining accurate files and records
n
- Assisting across broader property and commercial matters where required
n

Experience with interstate conveyancing matters would be highly regarded but is not essential.

About You

n

You may be an experienced commercial conveyancer, a strong residential conveyancer looking to move into more commercial work, or a law student with solid practical conveyancing experience.

You will have:

- Previous conveyancing experience
n
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
n
- Confidence managing your own files and competing deadlines
n
- Clear, professional communication with clients and stakeholders
n
- A practical, proactive approach to progressing matters
n
- An interest in developing broader property and commercial experience
n
