Pine4pple2.0 Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Stonemason to join our team in Yatala, QLD. This full time role is crucial in supporting and delivering high-quality stone masonry work. As a Stonemason, you will be responsible for cutting, shaping, and installing various types of stone, mainly for the installation of stone benchtops, splash backs, and others.

What you'll be doing
n
Interpreting plans and technical drawings to determine the required stone work
n
Measuring, cutting, shaping, and finishing stone materials to precise specification
n
Installing stone elements such as benchtops, splash backs fireplaces, barbeques
n
Ensuring the quality and safety of all stone masonry work
n
Collaborating with installation teams to coordinate the stone masonry process
n
Maintaining tools and equipment to a high standard
n
What we're looking for
n
Formal training or qualification in stonemasonry, with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
n
A trade certificate in stonemasonry is required
n
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
n
Skilled in the use of specialised tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and installing stone
n
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
n
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a construction team
n
Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the role
n
