Pumps & Irrigation | Full Training Provided

We are looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join our pumps and irrigation team in our locally owned small family business.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, learning recent skills and being part of a hands-on retail environment.

n

About the Role

n

You will assist customers with their pumps, irrigation and related product needs while providing friendly and knowledgeable service.

n

Key responsibilities include:

n

n
- Serving and assisting customers in-store
n
- Providing product advice and helping customers find the right solution
n
- Processing sales and operating the point-of-sale system
n
- Answering and directing calls
n
- Assisting with stock, displays and general store duties
n
- Learning about pumps, irrigation, plumbing and pool equipment
n
- Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming store
n
- Available to work rotating Saturday roster (overtime)
n
- Previous experience with pumps, irrigation, plumbing or pools would be an advantage, but experience is not essential.
n




- We are happy to provide on-the-job training to the right person.

We are looking for someone who:

- Has a friendly and helpful attitude

- Enjoys working with customers
n
- Is reliable and willing to learn
n
- High level of communication skills both written and verbal
n
- Ability to lift, up to 20kgs
n
- Can work well independently and as part of a team
n
- Has an interest in pumps, irrigation or related products
n

Above award wage will be determined based on experience, in accordance with the applicable Award, plus Superannuation.

No previous industry experience? No problem!

n
