Jancode Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Concrete Labourer / Steel fixer / MR Truck Driver / Excavator operator to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. As a Concrete Labourer / Steel fixer / MR Truck Driver / operator, you will be responsible for assisting skilled tradespeople in the preparation, set up, and pouring of concrete for a variety of construction projects.

A full driver's licence is required for this role.
n
HR licence is required for this position.
n
Candidates that have a MR / HR truck licence with experience in concrete, there is an immediate start
n
What you'll be doing
n
n
- Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up equipment
n
- Assisting in Concrete, Steel fixing & Formwork
n
- Pouring and smoothing concrete, using tools such as shovels, rakes, and vibrating equipment
n
- Cutting, drilling, and finishing concrete surfaces as directed
n
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
n
- Loading & Unloading machinery to sites
n
- Operating Excavators & Skid steers
n
- Excavator operating experience is required for this position
n
- A minimum of 6-12 months excavator operating experience is required.
n
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols
n
- Valid Construction Induction (White Card) is required before start date
n

- Previous experience as a Concrete Labourer or in a similar construction role
n
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a Concrete Labourer or in a similar construction role is required
n
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
n
- Good physical fitness and stamina
n
- Familiarity with concrete and pouring equipment
n
- Commitment to safety and attention to detail
n
- HR or MR truck license immediate start available in the new year
n
