About the Role

n

Reporting into the Distribution Centre leadership team, you'll be responsible for leading warehouse operations across your shift, ensuring operational targets are consistently achieved while creating a secure, engaged and high‐performing team culture.

n





This is a hands‐on leadership position where you'll balance people leadership with operational excellence in a fast‐paced distribution environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and dispatch
n
- Lead, coach and develop supervisors and warehouse teams
n
- Drive safety, compliance and a strong workplace culture
n
- Monitor and improve KPIs including productivity, accuracy, labour utilisation and on‐time dispatch
n
- Manage workforce planning, shift communication and operational handovers
n
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
n
- Work closely with Transport, Customer Service, Inventory and Planning teams
n
- Resolve operational issues including inventory discrepancies, damaged stock and customer concerns
n

About You

n

You're an experienced operations leader who thrives in fast‐paced warehouse or distribution environments. You know how to motivate people, solve problems and deliver operational results without compromising safety.

n

You'll ideally bring:

n

n
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or distribution operations
n
- Proven experience leading large teams and/or multiple supervisors
n
- Strong understanding of warehouse and distribution operations
n
- Experience managing KPIs, labour utilisation and workforce planning
n
- A track record of continuous improvement and operational problem‐solving
n
- Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills
n
- The ability to remain calm, organised and adaptable under pressure
n
- A current Forklift Licence is advantageous
n
