Experienced Rigger – Townsville Airport - Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Rigger or Dogman to join our team in Townsville for works associated with specialised airport infrastructure projects.

n

About the Role

n

n
- Perform rigging and lifting activities safely and efficiently on site
n
- Assist with the lifting, positioning and installation of equipment and structures
n
- Select and inspect appropriate lifting and rigging equipment
n
- Work closely with crane operators, supervisors and other site personnel
n
- Inspect rigging equipment prior to use and report any defects
n
- Assist with general site and construction duties when required
n
- Participate in daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings and site safety activities
n
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with WHS requirements, SWMS and site procedures
n
- Work within a secure operational airport environment
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- Proven experience working as a Rigger or Dogman
n
- Current High Risk Work Licence – Rigging (RB, RI or RA) or Dogging (DG)
n




- Current White Card (Construction Induction)
n
- Experience working with cranes and lifting operations
n
- Sound knowledge of rigging equipment and safe lifting practices
n
- Ability to work day and night shifts as required
n
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
n
- Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
n
- Ability to follow site procedures and supervisor instructions
n
- Ability to pass background and criminal history checks, including a pre-employment medical test
n
