Join Zilch Waste Recyclers as an Administrator & Weighbridge Operator and become an key part of our operations. Based at our Harlaxton or Cranley recycling facility, Monday-to-Friday role suits someone who enjoys variety, values accuracy and provides customer service. The position starts at 6:30 am, with overtime required during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the weighbridge and accurately record vehicle weights, waste and product types.
n
- Process customer transactions, payments and invoices.
n
- Maintain accurate customer, vehicle, waste and product records.
n
- Assist drivers and customers with enquiries.
n
- Complete data entry, document checking, filing and reporting.
n
- Coordinate with drivers, yard staff and management.
n
- Follow safety, environmental and operational procedures.
n
- Report equipment faults, discrepancies and safety concerns.
n

Skills & Experience

- Ability to follow directions and procedures.

- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
n
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
n
- Confidence using Excel, Word, Outlook and other computer systems.
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
n
- Reliable, punctual, organised and safety-conscious.
n
- Administration, weighbridge, accounts or customer service experience is preferred but not essential.
n
- Waste, transport or quarrying experience is advantageous.
n
