What your days as an Offsider will look like.

n

As a Trainee Offsider, you'll work alongside experienced Diamond Drillers, learning the trade from the ground up while helping keep our drilling operations running safely and efficiently.

n

No two days are the same, but you'll spend your time:

n

n
- Assisting with drilling operations and equipment.
n
- Handling drill rods, tools and consumables.
n
- Carrying out routine maintenance and housekeeping.
n
- Supporting the Driller throughout daily operations.
n
- Working safely as part of a close-knit crew.
n

n

What we're looking for.

n

Previous drilling experience isn't essential, but we're looking for people who already understand the value of hard work, reliability and teamwork.

n

You'll also have:

n

n
- A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
n
- A commitment to working safely.
n
- A willingness to learn and keep improving.
n
- Valuable practical problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
n
- A current manual driver's licence.
n
- The ability to work away from home on rostered projects.
n
- The ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
n
