Fire Service Technician - Casual position with a possibility to go onto a Full time role.

Minimum of 5 years experience and must be accredited.
n
Based in South-Western Sydney and servicing Sydney's South-West, Sydney metro and Illawarra areas, our company has over 20 years experience in the industry. We are fully accredited under the FPAA - FPAS Scheme.
n
Due to ongoing expansion of our client base we are looking for a Casual candidate.
n
The candidate we are looking for must be reliable, punctual, well presented, self motivated and be able to work with minimum supervision.
n
Applicants should have a good knowledge of fire protection industry, great eye for detail, positive customer communication skills & have a minimum of 2 years work experience in the fire protection industry.
n
Duties
n
n
- Fire safety preventative maintenance and servicing - (IT) Inspect & Test
n
- Monthly,
6 Monthly and Annual Testing of Fire Safety Equipment (Automatic fire detection systems, Fire doors, Extinguishers, Hose reel systems, Hydrant systems including pump sets, Emergency & Exit lights, Smoke & Heat alarms, etc. (Depending on experience and qualifications)

- Repairs, rectifications
n
- Use of portable device and industry software to report on completed jobs
n
n
Requirements
n
n
- Current Australian Drivers License,
n
- White Card,
n
- WWCC - Working With Children Check,
n
- Police check must be completed before application
n
- Accreditation in I&T; or APFS,
n
- Both I&T; and APFS accreditation required
n
- Sound knowledge of testing requirements,
n
- Ability to identify issues during testing and report accurately,
n
- Must be honest, reliable uphold key personal and business values and want to work as part of a team.
