Follow the toughening production sequence provided by the Factory Manager.
n
Ensure that glass is toughened in a timely manner according to shift and planned dates, maintaining normal expected lead times.
n
Stack glass on appropriate trolleys after toughening, grouping by thickness and dates, and separating glass at the back of the furnace by routes according to the stack paperwork provided.
n
Meet pre-set toughening KPI's unless extenuating circumstances occur such as an unforeseeable machinery breakdown
n
Use appropriate protective materials at all times in between pieces of glass.
n
Complete daily required toughening area machine pre-operational checksin full.
n
Minimise machine downtime whenever possible.
n
Use a tape measure to check every single piece of glass to make sure it meets the size and squareness specifications.
n
Conduct daily quality testing and record results as required by AS/NZS 2208:1996, AS/NZS 2080:2006 and ISO 21005 & 614
n
Keep re-cuts below the pre-set targets
n
Ensure all products cut and processed comply with relevant Cooling Brothers quality standards, the customer's requirements and specifications.
n
Ensure all products cut are in accordance with the relevant Australian and International Standards.
n
be able to communicate with all employees within the business in a respectful and work-appropriate manner at all times
n
Practice correct and protected manual handling
n
