ABOUT THE COMPANY
Our client is a well-established and highly respected SME operating within an innovation-led, knowledge-based environment. The organisation works with a diverse range of stakeholders and supports the development of new technologies and ventures.
THE ROLE
This is a commercially focused finance role suited to someone who thrives in an SME setting and enjoys building financial models and insight from the ground up. You will work closely with senior leadership and the CFO, providing commercial clarity and forward-looking analysis to support innovation and growth.
- Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process
- Build, maintain and enhance 3-way forecasting models across multiple revenue streams
- Develop and maintain pricing models to support commercial decision-making
- Deliver clear,
commercial insights to support business and investment decisions
- Provide scenario and sensitivity analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with operational leaders to provide meaningful commercial insights and cross-functional workflows
- Improve profitability analysis through stronger structuring of financial data
- Drive continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and reporting
REQUIREMENTS
- CA/CPA qualified, or equivalent commercial finance experience
- Experience in a commercial finance, FP&A;, or senior finance role, ideally within an SME or growth setting
- Experience with Xero is a distinct advantage
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn financial data into actionable insights
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving organisation
- Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-oriented
- Confident communicator able to partner effectively with senior stakeholders
