We're looking for casual waitstaff to join our team at the National Portrait Gallery. You'll be part of both the café and gallery events - so no two shifts are quite the same.

This role suits someone who enjoys being busy, likes working with good people, and takes pride in warm, polished service.

- Flexible shifts across days and evenings (Mon-Sun), with Café shifts being mostly daytime

- Immediate start - work before Aug 21

- 15-30 hours per week

- Mon-Fri $33.85

- Saturday $40.62
n
- Sunday $47.39
n

- Work in one of Canberra's most iconic cultural venues

What you'll be doing:

- Delivering friendly,



professional service
n
- Running food and drinks with confidence
n
- Clearing tables and keeping service flowing
n
- Working on the front counter when needed
n
- Supporting gallery functions and events
n
- Communicating clearly with guests and your team
n

n

You'll fit right in if you:

n

n
- Have at least 1 year hospitality experience
n
- Can carry 3 plates and a tray comfortably
n
- Have barista skills (a big plus)
n
- Are reliable, well-presented and positive
n
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
n
- Hold a current RSA and Australian working rights
n
