About the Role

n

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Process Inspector to join our production team at Designed Mouldings. In this important role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety by performing in-process visual inspections and ensuring goods are packed correctly.

n

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, works well in a team environment, and is committed to a safe workplace.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Perform thorough in-process visual inspections of moulded products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
n
- Pack goods according to item specifications.
n
- Inspect and prepare second-hand (return) cartons for re-use, ensuring they are suitable and labels are cancelled or removed.
n
- Cover completed pallets with top sheets and secure them properly.
n
- Collect samples for final inspection, document quality issues, and complete In-Process Inspection Sheets.
n
- Sort or rework articles as required.
n




- Maintain a clean and tidy manufacturing area at all times.
n
- Immediately report any safety, quality, or process concerns to Leading Hands or Shift Supervisors.
n
- Work collaboratively with fellow inspectors, supervisors, and production teams across shifts.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Successful completion of company induction and minimum 2 weeks in-house training.
n
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality.
n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
n
- Good communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
n
- Physical fitness suitable for standing, moving, and handling materials during shifts.
n
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential – full training provided.
n
