Packer / Labourer Loganlea rotational shifts up to $38 per hour

We are urgently seeking a packer to assist in the fabrication of aluminum sections for doors and windows with a highly reputable aluminum extrusion business based in Loganlea. The new team member will work with a designated crew working rotational shifts doing day, afternoon and night work from Monday to Friday. We are looking for a worker to commence as soon as possible.

About the role

n

This is a workplace focused on safety, training and team culture. We're seeking a packer/factory labourer to pack and prepare long-length aluminum products for dispatch while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.You'll perform tasks such as:

n

- Packing long lengths of aluminum into skips or onto bases for dispatch.
n
- Shrink-wrapping, stock-taking, RF scanning, and quality-checking to ensure profiles match products.
n
- Assembling materials into square shapes for dispatch and preparing crates.
n
- Operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) and forklift for cleating purposes (if licensed).
n
- Maintaining adherence to safe work procedures, including proper handling, maintenance, and storage of personal protective equipment.

The Rotational Roster

n

- Day shifts 5am – 1 pm
n
- Afternoon shifts 1 pm – 9 pm
n
- *Night shifts 9 pm – 5am
n

Rotational Roster — availability required Monday to Friday

n

*A 15% loading applies to afternoon and night shifts worked.

Key skills




n To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate:

n

n
- Previous labouring and packing experience, ideally in a factory environment.
n
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team.
n
- Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks (training will be provided).
n
- A willingness to follow instructions and work safely at all times.
n
- Current forklift licence (preferred but not essential).
n
- Availability to work, day and night shifts rostered Monday to Friday.
n
- Own transport and current driver's licence due to shift requirements.
n
- Appropriate level of physical fitness to undertake a range of manual handling / labouring tasks in this environment (training in safe work procedures will be provided)
n
- Appropriate work wear including steel cap boots, long pants yellow hi-vis long sleeved shirts.
n
- Availability to commence asap at Loganlea.
