Registered Nurse, General Practice - Full-time or Part-time

We are seeking a skilled, compassionate and patient-focussed Registered Nurse to join our team at Camden Haven Medical Centre in Laurieton, NSW in a full-time or part-time capacity.

n

This position would suit an experienced GP Practice Nurse or a Registered Nurse wishing to move into primary care from the hospital setting.

n

Practice hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- You will be involved in a wide variety of clinical tasks including, but not limited to:
n
- Administering immunisations and injections
n
- Triage and prioritisation of emergency situations
n
- Supporting GP's with minor surgical procedures
n
- Maintaining accurate patient clinical data
n
- Wound care, including dressings and suture removal
n
- Providing patient education and coaching to support health outcomes
n
- Stock management and ordering
n
- Equiment sterilisation and infection control management
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
n




- Previous general practice experience or a minimum of 2 years' experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role
n
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently
n
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
