Are you a skilled Security Technician/Cabler looking for your next opportunity?

We're looking for a qualified, experienced and motivated Security Technician/Cabler to join our team. Immediate work is available for the right candidate, with exciting new projects underway across commercial and residential MDU building sites.

n

Working alongside our Project Manager, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality CCTV, security, access control, intercom and structured cabling installations, while also assisting with optical fibre cabling and associated devices.

n

THE ROLE

n

You will be responsible for installing, terminating and commissioning a range of security and communications systems, including:

n

- CCTV and security camera systems
n
- Alarm systems
n
- Access Control systems
n
- Intercom systems
n
- Cat6 / Structured Cabling
n
- Optical Fibre Cabling and devices
n
- Running cables through conduits, cable tray and other pathways
n
- Working on new Commercial & Residential MDU construction sites
n
- Working independently and as part of a professional team
n
- Ensuring all installations meet a high standard of quality, safety and workmanship
n




- Completing projects efficiently and within scheduled timeframes
n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

n

The successful candidate will have:

n
- Construction Industry White Card
n
- ACMA Licence with Structured Cabling and Fibre endorsements
n
- Current Driver's Licence
n
- Asbestos Awareness Card
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the construction industry
n
- Proven experience installing CCTV, Alarm, Access Control and Intercom systems
n
- Experience running cables in conduits and cable tray
n
- Optical Fibre Cabling experience — preferable
n
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Excellent communication skills
n
- A commitment to delivering work to the highest standard of workmanship
n
- Reliability, punctuality and a solid work ethic
n
- Ability to work to schedules and complete projects on time
n
- Travel may be required - Flexibilty with hours
n

DESIRABLE — BUT NOT ESSENTIAL

- Security Licence
n
- EWP Licence
n
- Working at Heights certification
n
