Your new role:a
n
Wintringham is currently seeking motivated, driven and enthusiastic Enrolled Endorsed Nurses to join our residential team in a casual capacity. Bring your passion for well-being to our close-knit community, fostering a warm and supportive environment for our residents.

In this role, you'll have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care. Enjoy the flexibility of an unrostered role, with the opportunity to step in and support the team as needed across our service.
n
Your responsibilities and duties will include:
n
n
- Observing and reporting changes in resident's behaviour or physical condition
n
- Undertaking medication management and treatment procedures as directed by the Residential Site Manager or person in charge
n
- Liaising with medical practitioners, pharmacists and other health services to provide relevant services for the care and wellbeing of the residents
n
- Assisting the RN1 with clinical requirements of residents
n
- Assisting in the implementation of cigarette and alcohol programs
n
- Observing and reporting changes in residents behaviour or physical condition and maintain appropriate documentation as required
n
- Providing emotional support to residents.

We are looking for candidates with the following:
n
n
- Ability to work both in team and autonomously
n
- Cert IV/Diploma of Nursing (with current AHPRA Registration)
n
- Prior experience in housing & homelessness support, aged care, welfare, disability support, mental health or community/home care
n
- The ability to enhance or maintain our residents' independence and lifestyle
n
- A friendly and non-judgmental attitude
n
n

Successful applicants may be required to undergo a NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Records check. Refusal to provide your information to both parties will prevent Wintringham from being able to continue with your application.

Applicants who have lived in a country other than Australia for a period longer than 12 months in the last 10 years may be required to undergo an International Police Check.

Successful candidates will be required to comply with the Wintringham Health and Immunisation policy including having one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine as well as the 2026 Influenza Immunisation before commencing employment, and must provide evidence.
