We are seeking a motivated, reliable, committed and experienced medical receptionist to join our team.

n

Minimum of 3 year experience working in a general practice

n

Duties include:

n

n
- All elements of customer service including telephone and face to face
n
- Processing payments and invoicing
n
- Organising and management of appointments and patient enquiries
n
- Excellent time management with fast pace and multi-tasking skills
n
- Caring and compassionate personality
n
- Proficient with medical specific software Best Practice
n
- Knowledge of Medicare Advantages Schedule
n
- Experience with MyMedicare, PIPS and PRODA preferred
n
- Positive, with a strong work ethic, reliable,



willing to learn recent knowledge
n
- This role is ideal for someone with current GP practice working experience who is eager to contribute to the smooth running of our front desk operations. You must be able to multitask, stay self-motivated, and work effectively as part of a team.
n
- Updating and maintaining medical records and software systems
n
- Ensuring the practice meets accreditation and regulatory standand
n

Please Note: Only residents of Lake Macquarie or Newcastle with current GP practice working experience and knowledge of Best Practice and Better Health will be considered for this position.
