Job Description
A boutique MSP in North Sydney is searching for a Service Desk Analyst who brings energy, curiosity, and a can‐do attitude every day.
n
This role isn't just tickets — you'll also support the project team on deployments, upgrades, and onsite work, giving you hands‐on exposure to real technical growth.
n
You'll begin onsite while you learn the environment, then transition into a hybrid model (1-day WFH per week) once training and the initial ramp‐up period are complete.
n
What You'll Work With
n
- Microsoft 365 (tenants, configs, conditional access)
n
- Networking (routers, switches, APs)
n
- Backup systems, patching, documentation tools
n
- Project tasks: hardware rollouts, upgrades, onsite deployments
n
Your Day-to-Day
n
- Resolve tickets with speed, accuracy, and ownership
n
- Support users via phone, email, and remote tools
n
- Manage onboarding/offboarding, access issues, password resets
n
- Troubleshoot networking and connectivity problems
n
- Perform remote + onsite support
n
- Assist senior engineers with project work
n
- Work closely with a team that mentors and supports your growth
n
You'll Fit Right In If You Have:
n
- Level 1/2 experience supporting users across Microsoft 365, Windows, and networking environments
n
- 2+ years' experience in an Australian MSP or similar environment (Local MSP experience is essential due to client expectations and workflows.)
n
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, qualified vibe
n
- A proactive, energetic approach to learning and problem solving
n
- Interest in Microsoft, cyber, networking, or cloud pathways
n
- Ability to work onsite in North Sydney when needed
n
- Local tertiary education (TAFE, Uni, or IT courses) is highly regarded
n
Nice to Have
n
- Microsoft certifications
n
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders and high‐priority users
