You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A completed degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Accounting, Product Development, Data Analytics or Business Analytics
n
- Retail, customer-facing, internship or commercial experience
n

n

What you'll be doing

n

As a Trainee Category Manager, you'll partner closely with Category Managers, Buyers and Trade Partners to support and influence category performance. You'll:

n

n
- Develop your commercial acumen by helping shape product ranges, pricing strategies and promotional plans that influence customer purchasing decisions.
n
- Take ownership of a product sub-category, learning how to balance sales, profitability,



inventory and customer outcomes.
n
- Turn data into action by analysing customer, sales and market trends to identify opportunities and solve commercial challenges.
n
- Learn how to build and manage supplier relationships, working with trade partners to bring great products and value to our customers.
n
- Collaborate with teams across marketing, digital, stores, planning and merchandising to deliver engaging customer experiences both in-store and online.
n
- Influence real business decisions by contributing ideas, challenging thinking and recommending solutions that improve category performance.
