Talent Focus Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and driven Pipelayer to join our client's team, working on civil construction projects across Melbourne.

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Pipelayer ideally based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne who is looking for ongoing work and the opportunity to join a supportive and professional team.

About the Opportunity, your key duties will include but are not limited to:

n

n
- Interpreting plans and specifications.
n
- Working with underground services.
n
- Laying concrete pipes.
n
- Installing stormwater systems.
n
- Supporting plant operations.
n
- Operating GPS equipment – Topcon, Leica and Trimble systems.
n
- Working across subdivisions, road construction and drainage projects.
n
- Laying large concrete pipes.
n
- Working across various civil construction sites throughout Melbourne.
n

About the Prospect, your key duties will include but are not limited to:

- Interpreting plans and specifications.

- Working with underground services.

- Laying concrete pipes.

- Installing stormwater systems.

- Supporting plant operations.

- Performing manual handling tasks.
n
- Operating GPS equipment – Topcon, Leica and Trimble systems.
n
- Working across subdivisions, road construction and drainage projects.
n
- Laying large concrete pipes.
n
- Working across various civil construction sites throughout Melbourne.
n

About You To be considered for this position, you will need to demonstrate the following:

n

n
- At least 2 years experience as a civil Pipelayer, with subdivision experience preferred.
n
- Experience laying concrete stormwater pipes is essential.
n
- Current driver's licence.
n
- White Card.
n
- Current plant tickets (Advantageous)
n
- Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
n
- Ability to work under pressure.
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
n
- Flexibility to move between sites as required by the business.
n
- Full Australian Working Rights.
n
