Job Description
We are seeking a Signwriter Painter to join our team. This opportunity is for a qualified Signwriter Painter who enjoys a variety in their workday, while working with a great team environment.

About the role
n

- Provides signwriting services and advice to stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
n
- Responsible for the manufacture and install of signage on all Council facilities and assets.
n
- A balance between field work (installation of signs) and in-housework (production and preparation of signage).
n
n

We are seeking
n
n
- trade certificate or equivalent level of training to carry out the works of signwriting and painting
n
- current driver's licence - car
n
- Skilled in applying trade and signwriting techniques to complete work to required standards.
n
- Sound understanding and application of relevant industry codes and standards.
n
- Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
n
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
n
- Experience using signwriting plotters and associated design/production software.
n
n

Where it's located

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
