Clinical Support Officer (AO3) Cardio-thoracic ICU

Integral unit support role in high-acuity ICU environment

Work alongside specialist cardiothoracic clinical teams

Drive coordination, data integrity & workforce efficiency

Coordinate, manage and streamline ICU operations by delivering vital admin, rostering and data support in a critical care setting.

What you'll be doing
n
As a Clinical Support Officer in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to the Nursing Unit Manager and broader clinical team, ensuring smooth and efficient unit function.
n

- Coordinate and maintain accurate data entry across HR, finance, rostering, payroll and clinical systems
n
- Support workforce operations including rostering updates,
recruitment administration and leave processing
n
- Monitor compliance requirements such as staff registrations and escape
n
- Assist with patient-related documentation, reporting and administrative coordination to support care delivery
n
- Provide high-level administrative support for meetings, quality activities, incident reporting and unit operations
n

- Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
n
- Ability to undertake a diverse range of administrative tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
n
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability.
n
- Demonstrated superior organisational skills and experience in office administration, preferably in a health care environment.
n
- Ability to work independently and within the multidisciplinary environment.
n
- Computer literate, Data entry and Roster management
n
n
