Grand Pacific Homes is an established custom design and construct builder specialising in high-quality new homes and renovations throughout the Illawarra and Northern Illawarra.

We are looking for an experienced, quality carpenter to join our team on a permanent, long-term basis.

This position would suit a carpenter who takes genuine pride in their work, enjoys building quality homes and wants to work with a good team on interesting projects.

The Role

n

You will work across our custom homes and renovation projects from Helensburgh through to Kiama, alongside our existing carpentry team and apprentices.

n

The work is wide-ranging and covers different stages of residential construction, including structural carpentry, framing, external works, fit‐out and detailed finishing work.

n

We are looking for someone who can read plans, think ahead, solve problems and produce quality work without needing constant supervision.

n





For the right person, there is also an opportunity to take on additional responsibility and progress within Grand Pacific Homes over time.

About You

n

n
- Is a qualified carpenter with solid residential building experience
n
- Has experience with custom homes, architectural builds and/or quality renovations
n
- Takes pride in producing a high standard of workmanship
n
- Has strong attention to detail
n
- Can confidently read and interpret plans
n
- Can work independently and as part of a team
n
- Is reliable, organised and able to think ahead
n
- Works well with apprentices and is willing to pass on their knowledge
n
- Communicates well with other trades and management
n
- Has their own tools and reliable transport
n
- Holds a current driver's licence and White Card
n

n

Previous leading-hand or supervisory experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

n

We are more interested in finding the right carpenter and the right fit for our team.
