Job Description
Join the dedicated nursing team at Naracoorte Health Service as an Enrolled Nurse and contribute to the delivery of safe, high-quality and person-centred care within our Acute Unit.
Working under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will provide nursing care within your scope of practice, undertake patient assessment and routine clinical procedures, recognise and upscale changes in clinical condition and contribute to individual care planning.
You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, support patients and their families through education and communication, and contribute to quality improvement, evidence-based practice and the ongoing development of your clinical skills.

About the Candidate
You are a compassionate and accountable Enrolled Nurse committed to providing safe, person-centred care.
You communicate effectively, work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and can prioritise your workload while recognising and responding appropriately to changes in a patient's clinical condition. You are also committed to ongoing learning and professional development.,
- Be enrolled, or eligible for enrolment, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Be able to prioritise your workload, recognise and report changes in clinical condition and provide protected, person-centred care.
- Have experience providing nursing care within a healthcare setting in accordance with appropriate standards of practice.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the Enrolled Nurse role, relevant legislation, professional standards, codes and ethical requirements, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
- A current Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups is required for this position.
- A satisfactory Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.
- A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
