Australian Skin Face Body (ASFB) is a leading multidisciplinary specialist practice in Geelong, providing plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery alongside medical skin health, laser and aesthetic services.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Division 1 Registered Nurse to join our growing team.

n

About the Role

n

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a specialist medical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

n

Working closely with our plastic surgeons, doctors and broader clinical team, you will play an integral role throughout the patient journey, from consultation and preparation through to post-operative care and follow-up.

n

Your responsibilities will include:

n

- Providing high-quality clinical nursing care to surgical and medical patients
n
- Assisting our plastic surgeons with procedures and consultations
n
- Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
n
- Wound care and dressing management
n
- Patient education and support throughout the surgical journey
n
- Assisting with minor procedures and treatments
n
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
n
- Supporting infection prevention and clinical safety standards
n
- Assisting with stock management and clinical room preparation
n
- Working collaboratively with surgeons, doctors, nurses and dermal clinicians
n
- Providing a warm, professional and reassuring experience for every patient
n

About You

n





We are looking for a Division 1 Registered Nurse who is:

n

Registered with AHPRA

n

Experienced in a surgical, specialist or private medical setting

n

Confident working autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

n

Professional, organised and highly attentive to detail

n

Compassionate and patient-focused

n

Confident communicating with patients and medical specialists

n

Able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment

n

Committed to maintaining high clinical and professional standards

n

Keen to develop their skills and knowledge within plastic and reconstructive surgery

n

Previous experience in plastic surgery, theatre, wound care, skin cancer medicine or dermatology is desirable.
