About the Role

n

Hoppy's Carwash is currently seeking highly motivated Retail Managers to join our team at various locations across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. As a Retail Manager, you will organise and control the day-to-day operations of your site, taking full ownership of service delivery, stock, staffing, and site performance. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, leading a team of casual staff members and focusing on delivering outstanding customer outcomes.

Operations Management

n

Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the site, ensuring all daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance tasks are completed to a high standard, and that both chemical levels and service standards are maintained across the site.

Marketing and Promotion

n

Formulate and implement local marketing initiatives to promote the site's services and drive customer growth.

n





Work Sales and Customer Advice

n

Sell services to customers and provide advice on service options to maximise customer satisfaction and site revenue.

n

Financial Records

n

Ensure daily and weekly banking for the site is completed and accurately recorded.

n

Team Leadership

n

Control the selection, training, and supervision of casual staff, including rostering, performance management, and coaching to ensure the team delivers excellent service.

n

KPI Management

n

Track, manage, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, service time, and customer satisfaction, to ensure site targets are consistently met.

n

Customer Relations

n

Proactively respond to customer feedback, address complaints, and manage expectations to ensure a positive customer experience.

n

WHS Compliance

n

Ensure the site complies with all occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.

n

Collaboration

n

Collaborate with senior managers to share insights, implement improvements, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

Skills and Experience

n

Qualifications

n

At least three years of relevant experience in a retail, customer service, or automotive management role may substitute for formal qualifications.

n

Industry Experience

n

Previous experience in the automotive, car detailing, or retail management industry will be highly regarded.

n

Leadership Skills

n

Strong ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a small team to achieve high performance.

n

Business Acumen

n

Experience with budgeting, labour management and financial record-keeping is highly regarded.

Customer Focus

n

Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a passion for delivering outstanding service and handling customer concerns.

n

Licensing and Availability

n

A valid open driver's license is required, and availability to work on weekends is essential.

Operational Knowledge

n

A good understanding of retail or car wash operations and an eye for detail to ensure the service is both fast and of the highest quality will be highly regarded.
