ProviCo Australia is a leading dairy nutrition company operating a large scale processing facility in Dennington, on the outskirts of Warrnambool, Victoria. We process fresh milk daily into a range of high quality dairy products distributed throughout Australia and international markets.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Part-Time Quality Supervisor to join our Quality Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced quality professional looking for a part-time role while contributing to food safety, product quality and continuous improvement within a growing dairy manufacturing operation.

The Role

n

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our food safety and quality systems and ensuring our products consistently meet regulatory, customer and company requirements.

n

Working closely with our Quality, Production and Technical teams, you will provide hands on support across QA/QC activities, product testing, quality investigations and commissioning activities.

n

Key Responsibilities:

n

Support the ongoing implementation and maintenance of HACCP and Food Safety & Quality Management Systems.

n

Supervise and support day-to-day QA/QC activities and product testing.

n

Provide quality and food safety support during commissioning and operational activities.

n

Investigate quality issues, non-conformances and customer complaints, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.

n

Coordinate and support internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are completed effectively.

n

Maintain quality documentation, records, traceability systems and reporting requirements.

n

Monitor and report on quality KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.

n

Support product release and verification activities as required.

n

Assist with staff training and promote strong food safety,



GMP and quality practices across the site.

n

Work collaboratively with Production and other departments to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

About You

n

You are an experienced quality professional with a strong understanding of food safety and quality systems within a manufacturing environment. You are practical, organised and confident working with people across all levels of the business.

n

You will bring a proactive approach to problem solving and be comfortable balancing hands on quality activities with documentation, compliance and continuous improvement.

n

Qualifications and Experience:

n

Degree or tertiary qualification in Science, Food Science, Dairy Science or a related discipline.

n

Experience within food, dairy, pharmaceutical or a similar regulated manufacturing environment.

n

Sound knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety principles.

n

Knowledge and practical experience with GFSI recognised food safety and quality standards.

n

Experience with quality investigations, corrective actions and root cause analysis.

n

Strong documentation and record keeping skills.

n

Excellent analytical and problem solving abilities.

n

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different departments.

n

Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and take ownership of quality outcomes.

n

Solid commitment to food safety, product quality and continuous improvement.

n

Previous experience within dairy manufacturing.

n

Experience supervising or coordinating QA/QC activities.

n

Internal or external auditing experience.

n

Experience supporting plant commissioning, new equipment or process changes from a food safety and quality perspective.

n

Exposure to customer complaint investigation, traceability and quality KPI reporting.
