Tired of doing the same carpentry work every day?

We're looking for an experienced Carpenter to join our team at ASQB.

n

You'll be out across Sydney working on a wide variety of jobs, diagnosing problems and repairing, maintaining and replacing timber and aluminium windows and doors.

n

Some days you'll be working independently on service and repair jobs. Other days you'll be working alongside our experienced trades team on larger projects.

n

If you're already experienced with windows and doors, that's a big advantage.

n

If you're a good carpenter with strong repair and problem-solving skills but haven't specialised in windows and doors, we'll teach you.

ASQB is an established, Sydney business specialising in window and door repairs, replacements and Window Safety Compliance.

Our warehouse is based in Annandale and we work across Greater Sydney for strata managers, building managers and property managers.

n

We've built our reputation on doing good work, solving problems and providing a professional service and we're looking for another quality tradesperson to join the team.

What You'll Be Doing

n

You'll predominantly work on existing buildings, carrying out:

n

- Timber and aluminium window and door repairs
n
- Fault finding and problem solving
n
- Hardware, sash, cord, balance and operating repairs
n
- Timber repairs and maintenance
n
- Window and door replacements
n
- Larger repair and replacement projects with the wider ASQB team
n

This role suits someone who enjoys working things out.

n

Often the job isn't simply "build this from a plan". You'll need to look at an existing window or door, understand why it isn't working and determine the best way to repair it.

Who We're Looking For

n

Window and door experience is highly regarded, but it is not essential.

n

We're equally interested in an experienced carpenter who has the right trade fundamentals and wants to learn our specialist work.

n

You'll need to be:

n
- Experienced in carpentry, repairs or building maintenance
n
- A good problem solver with strong practical skills
n
- Capable of producing neat, quality finished work
n
- Comfortable working independently
n
- Reliable and punctual
n
- Professional and comfortable dealing with customers
n
- Comfortable using a phone and job management apps
n
- Someone who takes pride in their work and contributes positively to a team
n

What You'll Need

- WHS White Card
n
- Manual driver's licence
n
- Unrestricted Australian working rights

- Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one

- Basic carpentry hand tools
