CNC Operator (ATOM) - Temporary Assignment

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator (ATOM) to join our team on a temporary assignment from October to November 2026. The primary focus of this role is operating CNC cutting machinery to support production requirements, with some warehouse duties including forklift operation, material handling, and dispatch support as required. This assignment is initially for a two-month period, with the potential for extension for the right candidate and subject to business requirements.

Key responsibilities

n

Operating ATOM CNC cutting machinery safely and efficiently

n

Setting up materials and preparing jobs for production

n

Monitoring machine performance and maintaining quality standards

n

Achieving daily production targets and deadlines

n

Conducting quality checks on finished products

n

Troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalating where required

n

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

n

Assisting with material handling and stock movement

n

Operating forklifts for material supply and product transfers

n

Supporting warehouse and dispatch activities as required

n

About you

n

Previous CNC machine operating experience is essential

n





ATOM CNC experience highly regarded

n

Current Forklift Licence (required)

n

Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment

n

Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality

n

Ability to work independently and meet production targets

n

Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
