Auto Electrician - Custom 4x4 Trays & Canopies

n

HICAT Pty Ltd is an Albury-based fabrication business specialising in premium-quality custom ute trays and canopies.

We're looking for an Auto Electrician to join our small team.

n

This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys working on quality custom 4x4 builds rather than repetitive, high-volume work.

The Role

n

Your role will involve both auto electrical work and the fitment of our custom trays and canopies to vehicles.

n

Responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Installing and wiring 12-volt electrical systems, including dual battery systems, battery management systems, lighting, outlets and accessories
n
- Reinstalling and integrating factory electrical components such as tail lights, reverse cameras and parking sensors
n
- Troubleshooting and general auto electrical work associated with our builds
n
- Fitting custom ute trays and canopies to vehicles
n
- Fitting 4x4 and touring accessories
n
- General assembly and fit-out work
n

n

There may also be opportunities to learn and operate CNC machinery for someone who is interested.

What We're Looking For

n

To be considered, you'll need to:

n

- Have excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on consistent quality
n
- Take pride in your workmanship
n
- Have strong mechanical and hands-on fitting skills
n
- Be able to work well as part of a small team
n
- Be comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
n
- Be reliable, practical and willing to get involved in different aspects of the job
n

n

Experience in the 4x4, touring or custom vehicle industry would be highly regarded, but isn't essential.

n
