Living Gems Developments is seeking an experienced and licensed Excavator & Skid Steer Operator to join our team at our Harris Crossing project.

n

About the Role:

n

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating excavators and skid steers across our construction site.

n

Key Responsibilities Include:

n

- Cutting pads to the correct height and specification
n
- Using a laser equipment to achieve nominated levels
n
- Working accurately form profiles
n
- Cutting pads to datum points and benchmark points utilising surveyed RL levels and laser equipment
n
- Completing all required pre-start checks on machinery
n
- Carrying out precise excavation
n
- Ensuring that the site is always clean and tidy
n
- Following all site safety requirements, policies and procedures.
n
- Working effectively as part of a team.
n

About You:

n

We are looking for a reliable,



safety-focused and proactive operator who takes pride in their work and has the practical skills and experience to contribute effectively to our construction team.

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n
- Excavator Licence (essential)
n
- Skid Steer Licence (essential)
n
- Telehandler Licence (preferred)
n
- Construction Industry Card (White Card)
n
- Australian Driver's Licence
n
- Previous experience as a construction labourer
n
- The ability to take direction and proactively understand what is required to complete tasks effectively.
n
- A genuine understanding of, and diligent approach to, site safety and workplace procedures.
n
